Situated within the grounds of an old Victorian Manor House, the cottage was once the servants’ quarters and laundry areas. Lovingly restored to a very high standard and retaining many original features including large wooden beams, sandstone fireplaces and wash set pot. Relax in the large yet cozy lounge with wood burner, chesterfield sofa and 65″ smart TV, or chill out on the large comfortable sofa in the bright and airy sun room, looking out over the llamas’ paddock and across to the beautiful Pennine fells.

Absolutely beautiful location, arrived to a lovely welcome, cottage spotlessly clean and all that you need to have a relaxing time. Books, games, hot tub, dressing gowns, the list goes on. To be surrounded by countryside and the animals was so tranquil. I loved sitting in the hot tub watching the alpaca and llamas nearby and the stunning views.

What a lovely cottage, very clean and very quiet away from everyone not a sound for miles. Loved the wildlife, birds everyday on the bird feeders, even wild rabbits running around, and we especially loved the llamas roaming around the field in front of us. Lot of places to visit, the local pub does excellent food.
