Llama trekking is extremely popular and a wonderful new experience… Llamas are classed as the Dolphins of the animal world and bond to people to provide a unique and wonderful experience that you will never forget.
Mini one hour trek £25 per person . Minimum of 2 persons required for this trek
For those who would like to spend more time with the llamas getting to know them and helping groom and get them ready for their walk choose a longer Countryside Trek and woodland walk
£45 per person if joining a group or £175 for a private trek for 2
Scrumptious Cake and fresh coffee/Tea to purchase on return at £5.00 per person

All the trekking during your stay can be done right here from your cottage to make it as easy as possible for you to join in.
Alternatively, you can choose a one hour interactive animal experience delivered here on site and you will get to meet all our lovely creatures in person and get to know everything you ever wanted to know about the secret lives of animals!

From The South or North exit the M6 at junction 40 or A1M from Scotch Corner and follow the A66 towards Penrith. At the roundabout follow the A686 signed Alston and passing through the village of Langwathby. Melmerby is approximately 9 miles from Penrith on the A686.
On entering the village turn first left and follow the lane up round to the left. You will pass the Church on your left and bear slightly right and go through the large gates of Ravenstone Country Manor. Parking is behind the front garden of the Manor house.
